Abstract

Rendahnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar menuntut pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran pop-up book pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup untuk siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi menjadi enam tahapan. Subjek penelitian meliputi dua ahli media, dua ahli materi, dan 29 siswa kelas III SDN Kadudodol 2. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi dan angket respons siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil: Media pop-up book yang dikembangkan memperoleh validasi ahli media sebesar 86%, validasi ahli materi sebesar 87%, dan respons siswa sebesar 90%, seluruhnya dalam kategori sangat layak. Media menampilkan visualisasi tiga dimensi yang menarik dan sesuai dengan Capaian Pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka. Kesimpulan: Media pembelajaran pop-up book layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPA yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup di sekolah dasar.
