Ontologi Lagu Sebagai Materi Karya Sastra Dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Kelas XII: Perspektif Siswa dan Guru

Penelitian ini mengkaji ontologi lagu sebagai materi karya sastra dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Tingkat Lanjut kelas XII di SMA Negeri 3 Jombang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan empat guru dan 20 siswa, observasi pembelajaran, dan dokumentasi. Analisis tematik mengungkapkan bahwa guru dan mayoritas siswa (72%) mengakui nilai literasi lagu yang mengandung metafora, imagery, dan repetisi. Lagu terbukti meningkatkan motivasi belajar (85%), perolehan kosakata (78%), dan pengucapan (72%). Analisis komparatif terhadap "If You Believe" dan "Believer" menunjukkan fungsi pedagogis diferensial: lagu pertama efektif untuk refleksi personal dan pengembangan kosakata, sedangkan lagu kedua menyediakan materi kaya untuk analisis figuratif dan retorika. Namun, implementasi terhambat oleh keterbatasan waktu, sarana audio, dan variasi kompetensi guru. Temuan ini memperkaya diskursus ontologi lagu sebagai entitas multimodal dan merekomendasikan pengembangan materi ajar terstruktur, pelatihan guru dalam strategi pre-/while-/post-listening, serta penelitian lanjutan menggunakan mixed-methods untuk mengukur dampak objektif pembelajaran berbasis lagu terhadap literasi kritis siswa.
