Plagiarsm Policy
Every manuscript submitted to the Numeracy and Pedagogical Studies in Primary Education (NPPE) will undergo a plagiarism screening process using Turnitin software to ensure the originality and integrity of the scholarly content. The similarity index obtained from this screening must not exceed 20%. Manuscripts with a similarity level higher than 20% will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected during the initial editorial (desk) evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief.
This plagiarism check is conducted prior to the peer-review stage and serves as an essential measure to maintain the academic quality and ethical standards of NPPE. The journal strongly discourages all forms of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplication, or improper citation practices. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is entirely original and that proper acknowledgment and references are provided for all sources used.
In accordance with the ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and international publishing standards, NPPE reserves the right to reject any manuscript found to contain excessive similarity or suspected plagiarism at any stage of the submission or review process. Authors are encouraged to check their manuscripts for originality before submission to avoid delays or rejection.
