Implementasi Peran Guru Sebagai Pendidik dan Fasilitator dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pembelajaran

Mutu pembelajaran merupakan indikator utama keberhasilan pendidikan yang ditentukan oleh peran guru sebagai pendidik dan fasilitator. Namun, implementasi optimal kedua peran tersebut secara seimbang masih menghadapi tantangan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi peran guru sebagai pendidik dan fasilitator serta menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Metode: Penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus deskriptif dilakukan di SMP Plus Al-Musthafa Ciherang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terhadap lima guru selama delapan minggu, wawancara dengan 30 siswa dan kepala sekolah, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil: Implementasi peran pendidik terwujud melalui penanaman nilai karakter, keteladanan (80% konsisten), dan pemberian motivasi yang meningkatkan minat belajar dari 3,4 menjadi 4,2. Peran fasilitator ditunjukkan melalui penyediaan media pembelajaran variatif dan penerapan metode aktif yang meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dari 45% menjadi 78%. Kesimpulan: Integrasi optimal kedua peran guru meningkatkan hasil belajar sebesar 4,2 poin dan keaktifan siswa rata-rata 29,6%, membuktikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap mutu pembelajaran holistik.
